You might have seen that Kanye West, now known as Ye, released his new album, Vultures 2, this weekend.

The album comes two years after Ye faced a heap of controversy for sharing antisemitic messages online. The artist was temporarily suspended from social media sites and lost lucrative partnerships with brands like Adidas and Gap.

The album is a collaborative project with rapper Ty Dolla $ign and includes features from rappers like Young Thug, Future, and Lil Wayne, among others. In fact, it's Wayne who mentions Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Wayne raps on the song “Lifestyle,” “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce” — the wordplay referencing Travis’s NFL position as a tight end.

While Wayne raps about Taylor and Travis on the track, Ye doesn't mention the singer or athlete. However, Ye has been in a longtime feud with Taylor, which kicked off back in 2009 after he stormed the stage while she was accepting her first VMA, declaring that Beyoncé should’ve won instead. Years later, things reached new heights with all the “Snake-Gate” drama, which you can read about in more detail here.

Taylor hasn’t explicitly addressed Wayne's lyric, but her fans are convinced she subtly responded to the name-drop during a recent Eras Tour concert in Poland.

On Saturday — the same day that Vultures 2 dropped — Taylor wore her famous T-shirt that read, “I Bet You Think About Me,” which is the name of one of her songs from her 2021 album Red (Taylor's Version).

Taylor also released a new digital version of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which was first released in April. The new version dropped on Saturday and was available to buy for only 24 hours.

The new drop meant that her project reportedly remained at the top of the Spotify global chart on Sunday.

It's worth noting that Swift's fans speculating about a possible response from the singer have focused their energy on Ye, even though Lil Wayne was the one who actually mentioned her and Travis. Nevertheless, here's what a few are tweeting:

"taylor wearing the 'i bet you think about me' and releasing another digital edition of ttpd to block kanye is HYSTERICAL," one person wrote.

"She's so funny for wearing the I bet you think about me shirt after Ka*ye name dropped her and Travis in his song an actual comedian," another fan tweeted. (Again, it's Wayne who mentioned Taylor and Travis, not Ye.)

Another replied, "Saw the k*nye thing a little bit ago and I knew she was gonna wear it lmao."
