Last week, British singer Lily Allen revealed that she and her husband, Stranger Things star David Harbour, can go days at a time without speaking to one another.
But she went on to admit that constant communication can sometimes become “a little bit too much,” and it isn’t unusual for her and David to go no contact for a while.
Lily and Miquita were in the middle of answering a fan's question about what they think their most beautiful trait is when Lily received a phone call from her husband — and he immediately picked up on the fact that she was feeling pretty uncomfortable with the topic.
“Well, that’s exactly what the question being posed to me right now is,” Lily explained, to which David said: “Oh, then I understand that your response might be a little intense. I think you have real struggles with that.”
Lily was audibly emotional over this answer, and the two ended the call by saying “I love you” to one another, with Miquita commenting on how “nice” that must have been for Lily to hear.
Later in the podcast, Lily referred back to this as she reflected on how her rise to fame in 2006 impacted her relationship with her appearance.
