Ryan Reynolds Has Confirmed His And Blake Lively’s Fourth Child’s Sex As He Opened Up About Having A Son In An Emotional Instagram Video

The news comes 15 months after Ryan and Blake welcomed their fourth baby, and days after Ryan finally revealed their name.

As you’re probably aware, back in February 2023, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively announced that they had welcomed their fourth child together — but did not reveal the baby’s name or sex.

Last week, 17 months after their little one’s arrival, Ryan finally revealed the name of his and Blake’s newest addition at the New York premiere for his latest movie, Deadpool & Wolverine.

And on Saturday, Ryan confirmed that Olin is indeed a little boy as he opened up about being a father to a son in an emotional Instagram video, which was posted in support of the charity Walking 4 Hope.

“I want to share with you that I, too, have a son,” Ryan replied. “And that if... Boy, John, if I love him one-tenth as much as you love Jake, I’ll feel like I’ve done a pretty damn good job.”

On Walking 4 Hope’s official Instagram page, John shared a photo of himself with Ryan as he admitted that he was honored that this is how the Hollywood actor chose to publicly share his personal news with the world.

John wrote: “Well, what can I say, This man right here, what a beautiful human, I am honoured @vancityreynolds made it public to the world that his 4th born child, is a boy, during our interview.”

“I didn't realise how anxious I was until I first walked in that interview room, and Ryan welcomed me with open arms,” he added. “Ryan using his platform to share my story and ask me about my boy meant so much to me personally, but what it will do for Walking 4 Hope-Charity Page to be able to support more people, I will forever be thankful.”
