Over the past few years, Khloé Kardashian’s body transformation has repeatedly been a topic of discussion amongst fans online and on her family’s Hulu show, The Kardashians.
For some quick context, Khloé has prioritized fitness for years — namely since her divorce from Lamar Odom, which was finalized in 2016.
Khloé explained in 2019, “I was overweight — I was unhealthy — for a lot of my life. I started going to the gym during my divorce, like a significant and consistent amount for my mental [health]. I needed a release, and I needed to feel strong, and I just needed to get rid of all these thoughts.”
Not only did Khloé document her early morning gym sessions throughout the latter seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but she also released a book and a reality series focused on weight loss.
In 2022, after Khloé was left devastated by her now-ex Tristan Thompson’s shocking paternity scandal, she appeared to lose a significant amount of weight, with her sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, expressing their concern.
Tristan secretly fathered a child with another woman, Maralee Nichols, while he and Khloé were quietly engaged and preparing to welcome their second child via surrogate. It was later revealed that Tristan had encouraged Khloé to go ahead with the surrogacy and that he’d left her to find out about the paternity scandal “with the rest of the world” when legal documents leaked online.
During an episode of The Kardashians, Kim told Khloé that her sisters were “concerned” for her because of her apparent weight loss. “You look very skinny. … I will say that Kendall and Kylie — not that I’m trying to out them — but they did text me and say that they were a little concerned for you because you’re really skinny. I said, 'I think she's a bit stressed,’” Kim said.
Months later, fans heavily accused Khloé of using Ozempic — a diabetes medication that has become popular for weight loss in Hollywood — to lose weight.
Khloé shut down the rumors at the time, responding to an Instagram user with, “let’s not discredit my years of working out. I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions.”
And now, Khloé has addressed a new Instagram comment that suggested she looks “so much healthier” now in comparison to a year ago.
This weekend, Khloé shared a series of stunning photos to her Instagram page, which were quickly met with heaps of comments about her appearance.
One user wrote, “Looking so much healthier than a year ago,” to which Khloé replied, “well I was going through it ha! In a better place.”
A couple of days prior, Khloé shared a photo of herself sunbathing in a bikini, which also attracted tons of attention online.
In response to one user who commented asking about her workout routine, Khloé said, “Slow and steady wins the race… I think it’s all about consistency and I’ve been working out for years five days a week very consistently, but I do try to post some workouts on my page and hopefully you can take a couple workouts or modify them to better fit your lifestyle, but I’ll try to keep posting. Happy training.”
