Jimmy Kimmel has shared a brief update on his youngest son, Billy.
If you didn’t know, Billy — who is 7 — was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, which is a severe heart defect that affects the way blood flows through the heart and brings oxygen to the body.
Earlier this year, Jimmy divulged that Billy had undergone his third open heart surgery.
“This weekend, our boy Billy had his third (of three, we hope) open heart surgery. We went into this experience with a lot of optimism and nearly as much fear and came out with a new valve inside a happy, healthy kid,” he wrote on Instagram in May.
Now, Jimmy has given fans another update on Billy, revealing on a new episode of the iHeartPodcast Politickin' that the young boy is “doing great” and back to his usual “funny” self.
"He's a very funny kid; he's totally fine now. Hopefully, he'll never have to have another surgery of any kind thanks to the Children's Hospital in LA, which is a great hospital," he said.
Speaking of Billy’s health, Jimmy said, “You'd never know other than the scar on his chest.”
Jimmy then proceeded to quip that Billy is a “weird kid” as he revealed that the little boy “constantly” squeezes his mom’s butt.
“He's constantly squeezing his mother's ass,” Jimmy said with a laugh. “He says, ‘It's so juicy.’”
Jimmy shares Billy with his wife, Molly McNearney, along with their 10-year-old daughter, Jane. He also has two older kids — daughter Katie, 32, and son Kevin, 30 — with his first wife, Gina Maddy.
