Idris Elba And Victoria Beckham Have Both Fallen Victim To The Controversial “Give Me My Money” TikTok Trend

“He’s such a little brat sometimes," Isan Elba said of her famous dad.

In case you missed it, a controversial new trend is sweeping TikTok, and British actor Idris Elba is one of the latest victims.

But everybody could see the funny side when Idris Elba’s wife, Sabrina Dhowre Elba, and daughter, Isan Elba, targeted the Hollywood actor when they took on the trend.

As unimpressed as Idris looks, he does oblige, and when Isan and Sabrina deliver the lines, he obediently claps and cheers them.

He then takes his cue to say the line himself, albeit with little enthusiasm, and Isan and Sabrina struggle to hide their giggles as they try to remain deadpan.

And in the comments, many people were tickled by Idris’s all-round lack of energy, with one person commenting: “He ain’t wanna be in the video to begin with 😭😭😭”

“The way he said give me my money is the funniest part. He didn’t even earn the claps fr 😭” somebody else joked, while one more echoed: “How he upset and he barely wanted to participate 😂😂🤭”

And Idris isn’t the only celebrity to have fallen victim to the prank, with the Beckham family recently tricking Victoria Beckham with the trend — and she’d shown much more enthusiasm for it than Idris had.

In fact, the former Spice Girl got totally stuck in as she filmed the video with her husband, David Beckham, and their three kids, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, and even clapped herself before realizing that the rest of her family had stayed silent.

Luckily, Victoria took the embarrassment well, and put her hands on her knees as she buckled with laughter and asked the others: “Is that it?!”

Posting the video to his Instagram page, Romeo simply joked: “Sorry mum,” and David reposted it, adding: “We got mum.”
