Christina Applegate is looking back on a harsh interaction with a “very famous” producer.
“I was on a show, and one of the producers — [a] very famous [person] who did a very famous show as well — said, ‘Hey, we're having a lot of trouble lighting under your eyes. The bags under your eyes are so big,’” she said.
The actor did not reveal the name of the producer who critiqued her appearance. She did, however, reveal that she was 27 when she had the procedure done.
Even though the facial feature was “hereditary,” Christina claimed that the producer told her to get her under-eye bags "removed."
“You know what I did? At 27 years old, I had the only plastic surgery I've ever had to remove the bags under my eyes,” she said. “I went under.”
Christina went on to slam the unidentified producer for shaming her and causing her to feel insecure.
“Sooooo I made the unfortunate decision to look at some comments on an article from people mag about me and my kids at the CCA,” she tweeted. “Of course I told her that it wasn’t nice. This was her reply. What is wrong with people. By the way, I laughed.”
The screenshot showed that the user replied to Christina twice, saying in part “MS didn't make you look that way. A plastic surgeon did."
