COVID-19 Updates

Spring 2022 update:

Adventure Cycling Association is committed to doing our part to promote the health and safety of our community during the Covid pandemic.

This page is being updated with changes to operations, but above all we ask that everyone in the bike community be respectful of others’ requests when it comes to distancing and masking.

Visiting our office in Missoula

If your bike adventure takes you through Missoula, Montana, you’re welcome to visit our headquarters! Our office is open during normal business hours. Call us at 406-721-1776 before visiting if you have any questions.

For those cycling to town, we’ll still have you sign our guestbook and offer you a bandana, ice cream, and cold beverage. We would love to take your picture to be displayed in our doorway so that you can see if others you have met on the road have come through. You can also stock up on maps and useful gear at our Cyclosource store.

Adventure Cycling Tours

Our 2023 Guided Tour offerings are available now, and you can learn more about the steps we are taking to operate safely.

Riding the Adventure Cycling Route Network

If you’re planning a bike trip in the United States, we highly recommend checking with each state you’ll be traveling through to see what rules or precautions are recommended. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control lists recommendations for vaccinated and non-vaccinated domestic travelers.

Bear in mind that even from county to county, rules can vary for health guidelines, travel restrictions, testing requirements, and available services.

Non-U.S. residents planning trips

We’ve heard from some of our international members who’d like to plan a bike trip in the United States once travel opens up more freely. Check with your government’s travel office as well as U.S. government restrictions.

If you still go ahead with planning a trip, be sure to check the cancellation policy for your hotels and flights, and purchase travel insurance.
